Insane
‘Normal’ people
would characterized those who do not do the expected (in some cases) as being
insane. This word comes with a lot more
to it than just a simple definition. I
think classifying a person, as being clinically insane is unfair. It’s as if doctors and these ‘normal’ people
bunch all of these different humans into one group, but they are so
different. In these institutions, from
what I have heard and seen in movies like
One Flew Over the CooCoo Nest, these people seemingly have a lot going on,
and need a lot of help, but in so many different ways. There are all kinds of different issues and
mental illnesses that need to be addressed within these hospitals, yet all of
the people along with all of their problems, are treated exactly the same. They have the same doctors, same schedule,
same medication and same everything.
These ‘insane’ people need help in their one ways, addressing their own
issues. Instead, they are all being
pushed in the same direction, almost as if the people in charge want to make
them all the same, in order to have an easy time taking care of them. So
personally, I do not believe that there is a definition for insane that would
take into consideration every type of person classified by this word. At the end, I think everyone’s a little
insane.
